I found a way cool challenge over at "Oh My Moxie Fab" -

A Map to Your Heart Challenge

The challenge is to use a map in your creation....

so I put my thinking cap on.

I couldn't find any maps in the house, or in the garage, or anywhere!

We tend to pull things up online to check things out, and

at some point - I must have disposed of all the maps in the house.

Anyways - I pulled up a map of Bedford County, PA -

which is where I am from....printed it out onto cardstock,

and this is what I came up with ~

I can't wait to find a reason to send it to someone!

Todays set is one of my absolute favorites

of all the Paper and Such stamps so far!

Thats right....out of all of them, I think I love this one most!!!

It's called Snow Folks...you get a guy snowman,

a girl snowman with angel wings, some awesome snowflakes, and

a nice variety of sentiments. The set is 4x6 and will retail for

Here is Julie's story - in case you don't already know it -

“The creative blogging community is coming together this weekend to help one of our friends, Julie Ranae. You may know her as the Design Team Coordinator for many wonderful companies from bakers twine,

die cuts, rubber stamps and more.

What many people don’t know about Julie Ranae is that she has

had some pretty major dental surgeries in her lifetime due to medication she had to take as a child. It was in her plans to think about having all of her teeth replaced at some point in the next 5 years, a decision that was pretty easy to plan out. But then it happened…she chipped her front teeth on a weekend a month ago.

The dentist told her there was no way to save them & that it was his recommendation that she give in and have them all her teeth removed soon, but for that day, they needed to get her front teeth done so her gums could begin to heal. He said he would 'work out payments with her to have ALL this work done...but when she called to make her appt for the first step of impressions, they told her the amount of money that was needed and that the 'payments' applied only to the two teeth that were extracted that day. Her husband Paul was with her & that too, was his understanding as well. So this is how she has found herself in this situation…Needing at least $4000 to get started and another $3000 to finish the process…a total of $7000.

Nicole Rixon, owner of Sweet Stamp Shop put together this benefit after finding out about this situation and before Julie Ranae knew it, it took flight! Because she is an event organizer by trade, she has taken on the job of organizing all of the blogs in this hop as her way of ‘working overtime’ for what she needs, the same as if she were able to work overtime at an outside job to pay for the work to be done.

It is the goal of all of these generous friends & sponsors to help make this situation more do-able for our friend so that she can share a brand new smile with all of us soon.

What a week! I have a brand spankin' new baby niece

that was born on Tues and I get to go see her

This merry band of thousands of cardmakers is made up of Americans - and citizens of other nations too - who care about our military, and want to support them through creativity and encouragement. Crafters of all ages and levels of experience have participated since 2007...and are on the way to a landmark one MILLION cards!

Care packages filled with hundreds of handmade cards are sent to our contacts, restocking every 6-8 weeks, and are sent in time for the long journey back home to loved ones. Each box is packed with great care, alternating styles, colors, and cardmakers from all over the USA, creating "eye candy" for heroes who see only khaki around them. The topper on each box is a plastic bag filled with 20-30 letters from adults and children across the country, letters handed out especially to those in need of a positive word from the homefront.

Boxes are shipped through every week of the year, so join us anytime in sending your beautiful creations to help our heroes keep in touch with home!

I was totally stumped on this one....

and thought a little more. FINALLY....I came upon
