Challenge Time at Paper and Such

Happy Tuesday!

It is time, yet again, for a challenge over at

Paper and Such

This weeks challenge is about stitching!

It can be real stitching or faux stitching....

just use some kind of stitching on your project.

I decided to use our new set called

Heart Strings - I actually stamped the main

image onto a piece of muslin and then cut it out.

Snowman in the Heat

It's been SO hot here in the Northeast for a while now.

We are finally getting some much needed rain,

and hopefully some relief from all that heat!

(Do I sound old saying that we need rain??) 

It's been so long since I've just made some

cards for the fun of it, so tonight I went looking

for some challenges to do.  I found the 

Crazy 4 Challenges

challenge in my Google Reader and

decided to play along!

 this is what I came up with~

I figured I'd get out a winter set and play around a bit.

If you love embroidery or you know someone that

does...you'll NEED this set!

Here is my card using this set!

I tried a technique on this that I learned at my Copic

Certification class.  I colored the image with E41, then

took a piece of muslin material and soaked it up good with

my Copic Blender solution, then layed it over top my image

and pressed down.  It's a bit hard to see in the picture, but

the material left an impression on the colored image!

You should definitely try it!!
