Raise the Bar...and some CANDY!!!!

(My blog posts are normally short and sweet....but you may wanna grab a beverage for this one.)

This week just flew by....do you agree??

I've been super busy at work, so I think that contributes to it.

Today is a fantastic challenge at Raise the Bar

that you'll surely want to play along with....

"oh to be a child again"

make a card with an image of a child on it.

Have fun with this one!

my card was made with an image from the fundraiser

digi pack I got from Jak Heath

it is a pack of digi images with profits going

to Katie Renz who was recently diagnosed with

Stage 4 gastric cancer!

Katie is blogging about her experience with cancer

and all about her treatments...head over and offer some support.

You'll want to also see what the RTB Design Team
has done with thir "child" images:

Anita - Thanh - Dana - Joni

Here is my card -

Card details:Stamps: Image from Help for Katie from  by Lori Designs, PTI b/g text stylePaper: Basic Gray, cryogen white, DCWV dpInk: Vintage snow, basic grayMisc: Nesties, button, twine, copics

NOW....to talk about the candy! I've acquired more followers on my blog than I ever thought possible!I'm truly humbled at each and every comment that is left on my blog, and to show my sincere appreciation....I'm offering up a $15 gift certificate to the onlinestore of your choice.  As long as I can buy a gift certificate and have it emailedto you....you get to choose where to shop! I have a couple "rules" you need to follow....
1.  Become a follower of my blog (I don't normally do this, but what the heck)
2.  Leave me a comment and tell me what your favorite designer paper is right now! 3. If you put a post on your blog and send people back here...you get a 2nd entry into the drawing....just let me know in your comment that you did this. Thats it...easy peasy!!!
GOOD LUCK TO EACH AND EVERY ONE OF YOU!!! I'll post the winner on my blog sometime on January 19th.
