Friends with Flair at Unity

Wow!  Do you have any idea how long its been

since I participated in 

Friends with Flair

over at Unity???

A very long time!

I decided to play along today, hope

I used my new Stamp of the Week

from last week.  I've been trying to make my

Christmas cards a little at a time, so I'm not

so overwhelmed later this month.

I decided to dig out one of my newest sets that hadn't

CAS Color Throwdown Challenge

Time for a challenge.

This weeks CAS challenge over at

Splitcoaststampers is to use stitching or faux stitching.

Since I'm too lazy to drag out my sewing machine, I

opted for the faux stitching!

I love the color challenges over at the

Color Throwdown

This week, the colors are especially gorgeous, don't ya think??

I decided to use my brand new 

Unity Stamp of the Week

I was subscribed to a monthly stamp club, but I just don't need

any paper, ribbons or embellishments.  So, I decided to go with

the SOTW over at Unity.  It's only $5.79/week and that

includes shipping!!

my card:

I colored the Christmas ornaments with my ink pads and a blender

pen.  I used my copics to color the tree trunk, and to just make a few

"swipes" onto the branches of the trees to give them a bit of color.

I also took my sparkly gelly roll pen and went over the bows as well

as the sentiment.  It gave it just enough sparkle.

Color Q Challenge

Love me some ColorQ Challenges!!!

This weeks colors were totally out of my box

though, I gotta admit!

I'm not a orangey/purply kinda person!

I think I may have just rocked it with this super easy,

CAS card!  What do ya think??

I'm loving the washi tape lately.

Notice how I got that little itty bit of purple

in there.....the rhinestone to dot the "i" is purple!

Ribbon Carousel

This is the fifth week of our Monthly challenge

This month's theme is 
Fall and Halloween!

I've been trying more and more washi tape on my cards,

and I LOVE storing my washi tape on my ribbon carousel!!!

I also made this card for a challenge that is going on right now

to help Berenice Rendon's niece raise money for college!

CASology Card

Ahhhh....2 blog posts in one evening!  Imagine that!

I saw the CASology challenge and figured I NEEDED to play along.

Here is my card:

The pumpkin image is from Unity's September 2010 kotm.

(one of my favorites)

The sentiment is from Neat and Tangled

and those snazzy little sequins.....Neat and Tangled as well!

I stamped the pumpkin image on the card base, then stamped it again

on a separate paper, colored it with my copics, and cut it out,

then put it over the stamped image!   I love how it turned out.

Sweet Stamp Shop Lovelies
