Mothers Day

Yes, Mothers Day is right around the corner. I put in my "order" for a cuttlebug, how about you? I needed to come up with a few ideas for Mothers Day cards, this is one of them. Long Time No Post

Wow, it's been a while, life has been quite busy around here. So, I thought I could post some blog candy to make up for me being MIA. My Big Baby

Here's my big baby! Nothing but 90 pounds of pure muscle...I mean fat!!! He's such a sweet dog, he'll be 4 in September, and I've never loved an animal like I love Patriot. Even though he enjoys sleeping on my red couch and leaving his white fur all thru the house, I still love him!

Baby Sympathy

I had a request to make a sympathy card for someone. I used my Papertrey ribbon for the first time, and I LOVE it. It was so heavenly to tie....I think I may need more. I used the designer paper from PTI and the Spring Moss Paper.

Pretty Flowers....

Its spring time, we ate out on the patio last night and it makes me realize how much I want warm weather. I'm tired of cold, soggy days - bring on the sunshine! My card today is for the Limited Supplies Challenge on SCS. I've been meaning to try and make my own designer paper with some cream colored sheets I have at home, and this finally pushed me to make it. I hope you enjoy it.

Papertrey PIF

The card I made today is yet another image that comes for the PIF thread on SCS. It came from Shastess and I am in love with this set now. Todays challenge on SCS was to use eyelets on your cards. I've really gotten away from eyelets and find myself using brads more, so this challenge helped me to think outside the box.

Masculine Thank You

Seems like forever since I've updated my blog!

I had a friend ask me if I had any masculine thank you cards and this is what I came up with. I used the card base from a box of assorted cards I had bought. I'm pretty happy with the way they turned out.

April Fools Day!!

Happy April Fools Day everyone! Hopefully you started your day off right by tricking someone you love! I got dh first thing this morning by telling him the dog "peed" in the bedroom. Got to listen to him rant and rave till he got out of the shower and oh the pride that was on my face when I said "April Fools!" What a way to start the day!!! I proceeded to get both of my kids and several people at work - so it was a fairly productive day.
