CAS Monday Over at SCS

I don't know about you, but I love clean and simple cards. Lately, I've been trying to define my style, and I'm loving the CAS look.

This was made with my newest Unity stamp, Rain and Showers. I just keep falling in love with Unity over and over with each set that the mailmain brings me! :)

The CAS challenge was to use some sparkles on your card, so I have stickles in my puddles....they are hard to see in the pic, but they are there.

Good Morning and Happy Sunday

Its finally feeling like summer here in Central PA!!! Its nice to hang out by the pool and spend some time with the kids in there.

OK....who loves digital images? Who loves having images to make little boy cards? I sometimes struggle for little boy things.

I have a solution for you....it's called Sunshines Stamps! Her images are going to be geared towards the little guys in our life, at least initially. I'm told she's working on some images for us gals too.

Prayers Needed!

Ok...so I'm not an overly religous person, but I do believe in the power of prayer! My brother-in-law, his name is Brian, is currently in the hospital. He has bacterial pneumonia (at least thats what they think it is right now) and he needs all the prayers he can get. He is being put on a ventilator right now.

He is 40 years old and has 3 children, ages 12, 10, and 6. Please pray for him....and feel free to link my blog to anywhere if it can get more people praying!

Darn Bugs.....

My bil is in the hospital not feeling too hot, so I wanted to make him something to cheer him up.

When I saw this sketch challenge for the CAS challenge over at SCS, I new exactly what I wanted to do...but had to wait until I got off work to do it! Work sooooo interferes with my stamping!

I'M A SUPAHSTAH!!!!!

Well at least today I am!!!!

Imagine my surprise when I got a pm from Jami Sibley earlier this week asking me if I wanted to be the Friday Friend over at Stamp a Sweet Impression? I was flattered, to say the least!

Ok, so after I talked myself out of a major panic attack….I calmed down, emailed Jami back and said “HECK YEH, JUST TELL ME WHAT YA NEED FROM ME”!

I started the week out at home sick, but I recovered enough to make the card and answer all the interview questions, with time to spare.

My sister surprised me with a little gift. To give you a little background, my husband is a policeman, and I'm a purse-a-holic! Plain and simple, thats just how it goes. So my sister found these cute bullfrog looking things!!! Aren't they adorable?? I, of course, have a credit card in one hand and bunch of purses on my arm!

And yes....I still love my sister, and no, I don't wear that much lipstick!

An Easy Peasy Card

Todays card is for the color challenge on SCS and the 365 challenge for today. SCS color challenge was to use white, and 365 was to have a veggie on your project. I'm still not feeling too hot, but these were easy challenges that didn't take me too long, so it worked out well.

A Color Challenge
