Color and Sketch Challenge Card

I'm home again today, the office is closed due to the recent snowstorm we had. We got about 23"-24" on Saturday and probably another 21"-22" on Tuesday....at least I think those are the days. I'm a bit confused about the days and dates since I've been home. :)



This card is for Mercy's Tuesday Sketch and for the Curtain Call Color Challenge. This has got to be one of my favorite color combos!

I used one of my newest sets from PTI - Through the Trees....such a beautiful set!

Softpencil Spring Card

This weeks challenge over at Softpencil was to make a spring card using the be mine image found here. You can find the spring card tutorial here. This was such a fun card to make, so I made 2 of them, 1 for each of my nieces.

I printed the image on white and on pretty in pink paper. On the white one, I colored the kitty with my copics and cut it out. I then cut out the entire image on the pretty in pink paper, and then glued the copic colored kitty on top of the pink one. Isn't it soooo cute??

I didn't participate in last weeks CAS challenge, I was sooo sick! I am happy to report that I'm feeling about 200% better this week.

Nothing Crafty

Nothing crafty yet today....we are digging out from close to 30" of snow!! Yes, you read that right, 30"!!! Me and the oldest son were up around 6am doing the driveway so my hubby could get in when he got home from night shift. Although I didn't do much....it was still exhausting! :)
