Chevrons and Flowers

What an absolutely beautiful day here in central PA!  I'm locked in my craft cave listening to music and stamping!  Best Sunday EVER!!! :)  This card is for the challenge over at CAS-ual Friday - such a fun challenge to use chevrons and flowers!

Krafty Blues

Hi all!  It's almost the weekend, and I am soooo ready!  I'm sure you are as well.  I'm hoping to stay in my craft cave for quite a while over the next few days.

My card tonight was made for 2 challenges.  The first one is The Shabby Tea Room, with this gorgeous inspiration picture:

The 2nd challenge is another new challenge I just came across called Little Tangles, with a kraft challenge.  I LOVE me some kraft cardstock, so this was an easy one for me.

Here is my card:

I used a couple different PTI sets, Bitty Background Blocks and In Bloom.  I've been dying to make some type of little candle, and this was the perfect opportunity.  I also used a SU set called Whimsical Words for the sentiment.  I had to stack my dimensionals to get the flower high enough off the paper for it to overlap the candle a bit.

Pinspired Sparkles

Time for another challenge card.  this one was made for a challenge I just heard out about last night.  It's call the Pinspired Challenge.  What a fun challenge, and I definitely plan to play along again.

My card -

I love the pink sparkly nails in the inspiration picture!  The rhinestones and the sparkly ribbon, give this card just enough sparkle.  The main image is up on dimensionals.

Sequins!!!

Did you know that sequins come in every color?  I know this because I was fondling them at Hobby Lobby today!  I was good and only bought two packages though.  :)  How fun are these little things on cards?  I've been seeing them all over the place, guess they are the big thing now.

I made this card for two challenges tonight.  (see below for links)  It may look like I'm missing the Daffodil Delight color, but if you strain your eyes a bit, you can see that one of my twine colors is yellow.

I used another of my favorite stamp sets, Breathe from CAS-ual Friday Stamps.  They just so happen to be hosting the Tuesday Morning Sketches this week, so if you play along, you may win a gift certificate to the store.

Flying by.....

I found more time to stamp tonight.  I ordered this stamp set and die a few weeks ago.  It was one of those "have to have" things, and it's taken me this long to ink it up....shaking my head!  :)  BUT...its inked up and I even played along in the Lawnscaping Challenge.  The challenge this week is to use embossing somewhere on your project.
