Ribbon Carousel Challenge

Hope you are having a fabulous week so far!

Today I'm bringing you my card for the

current challenge over at

Ribbon Carousel   

for the month of August

We are in week 4 of our current challenge:

This month's challenge is all about

Summer Time Fun

We ALWAYS have a ribbon carousel 

up for grabs!  Who wouldn't want one of those?

There are three rules to be eligible for the prize:

1.  You MUST use ribbon or twine on your creation.

2. Your project must be based on the theme of the month.

3. You must add  a NEW project  to the inlinkz on TO THIS POST (click there) and link directly back to your project on your blog or online gallery.

My summertime means that hopefully, there will be some travel

involved.  We kept it on the east coast this year, and managed

to have a fabulous time at Virginia Beach!

I kept adding stuff, and I'm actually pleased with the way it turned out.

That piece of netting has been hanging on my cabinet door

in my stamp room, just waiting to be used.  I thought this image

was the perfect match for it.

of course, it's all about the red/white/blue!!!!

Patriotism is my middle name, or at least it should be!

My oldest son is a United States Marine,

the development we live in is called Colonial Acres,

heck, even the dogs name is Patriot!

So yes, this challenge is right up my creative alley!!

Pinspired Strawberries

Strawberries!

Who doesn't love them?

They are almost as fun to color 

as they are to eat!

Todays card is for the challenge over at

Here is my card -

I used some of my fabulous Unity stamps for this one!

When I'm coloring strawberries with my Copics, I do it the

lazy way.  I color the entire berry red, then use my colorless blender

on the spots, and then throw a bit of orange or yellow

onto those areas.
