Mod Squad Challenge

Goodness Gracious.....

I MADE A CARD!

It's been so long, but I just haven't felt real motivated to get crafty lately.  I've missed it, and really hope my creativity comes back soon.  My friend Regina is hosting the challenge over at the
Mod Squad, and I got a new stamp set in the mail today,
so I thought today would be as good a time as any to try and make something!

The challenge is to make a birthday card with sparkle!  This may not look like a birthday card, but on the inside I wrote.... "I forgot your birthday!"

haha....love this new set from Unity!!

Thanks so much for looking!

Tiddly Inks DT Call

Goodness it's been a while!

I have been coloring a ton lately though,
and taking some colored pencil classes.
Plus, I recently signed up for a lettering class.
There are so many cute images out there that are really
bringing back my mojo!!  I've even pulled out my Copics,
and purchased a few more to add to my collection!

Some of the cutest ones on the market right now are from

Here is one of my favorites right now:

Wryn is adorable, isn't she????  Plus, she is so fun to color!!

Tiddly Inks is having a DT call right now and I figured I may as

Heck, maybe you'd like to try out too!!

Thanks for looking and have a great week!!

Just For Fun Challenge

Hello all!
I hope wherever you are, you are having a great day!
If you are in the northeast, I hope you love snow!  We have several inches
on the ground here in central Pennsylvania, and it is kinda nice, I gotta admit.
Although, since I'm not working right now, I don't really need to go anywhere,
so I'm allowed to say that.

Today's card is for a new challenge that is out there.  It is being coordinated by
my stampy friends Giovana and Lee Ann.  It made me think outside of the box and
get out some supplies that I hadn't yet opened!

Just For Fun Challenge

Here is the challenge:
In our project, we challenge you to use at least two mediums from this list:
ink, acrylic paint, gesso, gelatos, spray inks, embossing paste,
colored pencils, watercolors, chalks, pastels
And one or more from this list~
fabric, glitter, chipboard, metal, ephemera, washi tape

Here is my card -

I used watercolors, embossing paste and glitter.  For those of you that don't know it,
I hate glitter.  I can't stand when it gets everywhere!  However, I sucked it up and used
it for this card.

I hope you've enjoyed this, and I hope you play along with us.

Have a great day.

Coffee Lovers Blog Hop

Happy Monday!!!  I hope you are having a splendid day, and that you are ready to see TONS of inspiration from a TON of super talented ladies.

A bunch of us are doing a blog hop today with a coffee theme, in honor of National Coffee Day!

I don't know about you, but I NEED my coffee in the mornings, or you don't even want to be around me!!!

We thought it would be cool to answer a few coffee questions, so here goes.....

1. When did you start drinking coffee?  I can't even remember when, but I do know it was a very long time ago!!

      2. What is favorite brand (you can name up to three).  My absolute favorite is Starbucks, hands down!

3. What is the most amazing coffee that you had? Remember where and when?  I'd say my most amazing coffee is the 1st one I have every morning....seriously!

4. If I don't drink my needed coffee, I will.....  I really can't even think about this.....I'd hate to see what would happen!

Did I  mention that we have prizes??  We have 15 prizes to be exact - and winners will be drawn at random from all comments on the blogs!!!  Thanks to these fabulous sponsors:

Sketch For You to Try

WOW- it's been over 2 months since I've posted anything on my blog!  Guess I've just not had much to say.  We had this past week off of work, didn't go anywhere, but had a very relaxing week at home.  I do so LOVE not being on a schedule!  I like to wake up
when I want to, drink my coffee, check email, etc at my own pace in the mornings.  I do kind of feel my mojo returning.

I haven't felt like stamping much over the past few months, and it seems like a lot of my "stampy" friends have been going thru the same thing.  I'm glad to be getting the urge back, since it is my therapy and stress reliever.

My card today is for the SFYTT Challenge

Here is my card -

I love this new set from Reverse Confetti - So Very Special and the new die cut set called Tag Me Too!
Loving them both!!!

Watercoloring Class

I signed up for a Watercoloring class online, and
I'm finally getting a chance to play around a little bit.

I used my Sakura koi watercolors for this card -
I applied them directly to an acrylic block,
 stamped them onto the paper,
and then added some water to them.
The paper is Tim Holtz WC paper, and it kinda totally
rocks!!!

Thanks for stopping by my blog -
I'll keep posting my practice cards!
