Long Time.....No See!

Hello friends....it's been a while since I've been here....I'll explain why.
My uncle has been very sick....and he took a turn for the worse last week and
died on Thursday!  Even when someone is sick and you expect the end
is near....you always hope that its a long time in the future.  For my family and I,
it came much sooner than any of us anticipated, plus he was only 54.  I was able to be there with
him as he took his last breaths, and watched his heart rate decrease on the monitor.
He had been hanging on all day....and that evening when my aunt told him it was "ok" for him to go....
within about 5 minutes he was gone.  It was probably one of the most amazing things
I've witnessed in my life!  I've always heard that you need to tell your loved
one that its "ok".....but I've never watched it all unfold.  It was truly amazing.

Enough depressing news.....I am here for a reason today!
I have a card for the Sweet 'n Sassy blog!

There is a major release this Friday and you won't wanna miss it, its a great one!

Fabulous card, Julie! Love tulips and these are lovely. G reat use of the white space too :)

So sorry to hear about your uncle... I was there when my dad breathed his last and it is a moment frozen in time. Glad he had family there to support him as he was able to let go. Huge (((hugs))).

what a special memory to carry with you, 54 is way too young to leave life, he must be moving on to bigger and better things, but one thing is for sure, he will always be with you! {{hugs}}
