Softpencil Mermaid

Wow, I can’t believe my guest designer month is already up at Softpencil! February has just flown by.

The Softpencil challenge for the DT this week was to use our favorite coloring medium. My favorite way to color is with my prismas and also my copics….so I used both to color this adorable little mermaid. Be sure to check out all of the DT's creations....you can link to them over to the right on my blog. If you'd like to purchase a little mermaid, you can do so here.

All of their digi images are priced very well....and digi's are like instant gratification, just download, print, and you are on your way to a beautiful creation.

I used the sketch from Sweet Sunday Sketch - slightly intimidating at first, but I figured it out.

Recipe:
Stamps: Mermaid digi image from Softpencil
Paper: Lemonade dp, pretty in pink, aqua mist, white
Ink: printer ink
Misc: ribbon, cuttlebug, nesties, copics, prismas, tiny twinkles, white gel pen, and black marker
Thanks for stopping by today!
Be sure to stop back, I'll have some exciting news to share on Sunday!

Softpencil Notebooks

Hello all! Today is a Softpencil challenge day! We got to use the little bichitos images today! They are just so cute. We couldn't make a card though....it had to be anything but a card! I decided to cover 2 of the little composition notebooks for my nieces. They just love little notebooks. Then I decided to make the matching bookmarks.
To make the bookmarks, I punched out two matching scalloped circles, put a glob of E6000 glue on one of them, laid the extra, super duper large paperclip in the glob and then layed the 2nd decorated scalloped punch on top. Easy peasy!

Recipe:
Stamps: bichitos digital images, names were also printed out
Paper: Pretty in Pink, Lavendar Lace, black, white
Misc: notebooks, punches, paperclips, copics

Softpencil Spring Card

This weeks challenge over at Softpencil was to make a spring card using the be mine image found here. You can find the spring card tutorial here. This was such a fun card to make, so I made 2 of them, 1 for each of my nieces.

I printed the image on white and on pretty in pink paper. On the white one, I colored the kitty with my copics and cut it out. I then cut out the entire image on the pretty in pink paper, and then glued the copic colored kitty on top of the pink one. Isn't it soooo cute??

Recipe:
Images: Be Mine - Softpencil
Paper: Pretty in Pink, CTMH dp, BG urban prairie
Ink: printer ink
Misc: copics, button, jute twine, ribbon

Thanks so much for stopping by today and checking out my card!
