Stampin' My Heart Out!

I have been stampin' my little heart out today! I've done Gina K challenges, Stamp TV challenges, SCS challenges, SOA challenges....you name it, I feel like I've stamped it today. I decided to do the Mojo challenge, and came up with this.

My little sisters anniversary is coming up this week and I wanted to make her a special card. Now, when you are using PTI or Verve....you don't have to do much to make things look special....they just do. BUT, when you put the two companies together....what you get is fabulous!!! This may be my favorite card that I have ever made!

Flowers!

Who doesn't love this time of year when the flowers are in bloom and everything looks so alive! We spent last weekend working our butts off around the house with spreading rocks around the pool, mulching, planting shrubs and flowers, etc etc etc. Its hard work, but its so gratifying when its done and you see how beautiful everything looks.

I have several pictures to share with you today. I did Sharons challenge here http://notimetostamp.blogs.splitcoaststampers.com/2009/05/29/stamp-simply-89-spring-has-sprung/ Two of my favorite flowers are lilacs and geraniums. I have a dwarf lilac bush, and I always plant red geraniums in front of the house. They just seeem so patriotic to me for some reason.

The above picture is the Blossoms Abound from SU, I used Mellow Moss paper, always artichoke, lovely lilac, along with some BG dp. I love the look of the flower soft on the lilacs...makes them look real.

This is one of my favorite stamps.....I punched out the geraniums and glued them on the image. Actually the entire image is cut out and glued onto the white, its looks 3-D. Paper is from PTI...Pure Poppy and the dp, along with more always artichoke from SU.

I have a few other pictures to share....some of our hard work around the house. We spread 5 tons of rock around the pool so far, I need to order another 5 ton!.....enjoy and thanks for stopping by.

Good Times and Summertime.....

Well, summer is surely getting close....now if the temps could just stay out of the 30's and 40's at night. Todays card was made for the sketch challenge and SCS and Tuesdays challenge over at Jacksonbelle Embellishments .

We had our pool opened today and thats what put me in the mood for a summer card. This was a set I had to have before it retired, so my husband got it for me for Christmas.....today was the first I inked it up. **insert that blushing smiley here**

How Many Birthday Cards Are Too Many???

Well....I'm pretty sure there is no such thing as too many birthday cards. Here's my first post of cards....I actually have more to photograph. I got to share my birthday with Mothers Day this year and it was a fabulous day!!! My mom and I also share the same birthday. She had me on her 17th birthday, and it also happened to be Mothers Day that year. I haven't been able to top that gift!!! Thanks to everyone who sent me a card and all the birthday wishes I got in emails, on FB, and on SCS. You all rock.

P.S......I'm 39 and holding now!! :)

Oh Gosh.....Another Cupcake!

What can I say....I told you I was addicted! Thank goodness these cupcakes don't make my blood sugars go up!!! I did this little guy the same as my post from yesterday, just changed the layout a little bit.

I Love Cupcakes!!

Soooo...I may be a diabetic, and I may wear and insulin pump, but by darned, I'm still addicted to the cuppies from over at Taylored Expressions. I mean...look how cute they are!!! I have a few birthday cards to mail out, so figured I'd try to make my new Doctors Orders set work for me. I stamped this little cuppie, but in that blue balloon, it says Get Well. Well...it used to say that.....I wiped it off so I could use this little guy as a birthday stamp! How innovative is that! ;)

I'm Back!!!

Feels like forever since I've been here. Last week at this time I was just about in Ft. Wayne, IN for the Vera Bradley sale. Traveled a very long time with my favorite little sister (she's my only one), went to my cousins in OH then headed to IN. The sale was spectacular and I shall DEFINITELY go again for the next one. I'm back into stamping too!!! That long trip just threw me off and I was sooo far behind with everything.
