Card Pattern and Color Throwdown

Unfortunately.....I was in need of a sympathy card.
I just don't like making these....it means that someone has
lost a loved one....so I tend to make these as I need them,
and not stock up!

I used the

and the

Color Throwdown Colors

when I combined the two....
this is what I came up with:

Card details:
Stamps: Branch Out - SU, Fillable Frames #2 and 8 - PTI
Paper: Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, White
Ink: Riding Hood Red, Old Olive, Pumpkin Pie
Misc: PTI Fillable Frames #8 die, buttons, jute twine, ribbon,
scor pal, and dimensionals

Thanks for stopping by my blog today....
I'll be back bright and early with a Repeat Impressions card!

Love the multiple matting of the sentiment panel, Julie :) Lovely tree too - reminds me of the maple trees on our street right now. Love the fall colours - happy sigh :)

This is a wonderful sympathy card and will really mean a lot to the recipients. Perfect for this time of the year. Thanks for playing with the CTD this week!

Your card looks great Julie! I like how you went with a fall season, so sorry you needed one though.

Your tree is lovely in it's simplicity. Perfect for a sympathy card.

This is gorgeous Julie! I would have never thought to use FS as leaves on a tree. Great idea! Thanks for playing along with us on Card Patterns.
