Another Challenge

This card is for the challenge over at 365 Challenge Blog ....today their challenge was to make a tri-fold card. Now honestly....I may have made 1 or 2 of these in my life. However, I found it rather easy and fun.
My paper measures 5-1/2" x 10" - and I scored it at 3" and 7". From there - I just measured my dp and my cs about 1/4" smaller than the panels I wanted to put it on.
The large brown square measures 3" x 3", the pink one measures 2-3/4" x 2-3/4"...and guess what...the white one measure 2-1/2" x 2-1/2" - how ironic?!
I colored the flower with copic R81, R83, and R85, and outlined the flower with W-1. I pierced the two opposing corners, and placed pearls in the other two. Along with more pearls for the center of the flower.
As always, thanks for stopping by today.

My New Unity Stamp from Tamijo

I was in a Bunny Swap over on SCS...we swapped names about a month ago. So you spend a month buying things you think your bunny would like. Well....my friend Tamijo had my name and she got me this awesome awesome stamp from Unity, as well as a ton of other stuff....Isn't it gorgeous??? (Tami, I say this with a mouth full of a reese's peanut butter egg you sent me)

I used Baja Breeze dp from SU - I'm going to hate when this color retires. I'm gonna have to stock up!!

I love the look of the pearls on the butterfly and also on the card....gives it such a nice crisp refreshing look.

I'm starting to get into decorating the inside of my cards as well. It seems so many people are doing this, so I figured if I wanna be one of the cool girls, I'll need to start doing it too! :)

Thanks for stopping by today.

Taylored Expressions Cupcake Challenge

So.....I've never ever done one of Taylors Challenges, so I figured today was as good a day as any to get started. I don't have any of her stamps, (which I plan to remedy in the near future), so this is what I came up with.
Love this sketch! I wanted to incorporate something from her store, so I used the little tiny twinkles for the center of the flowers.
If you'd like to try the challenge..you can find it here Taylored Expressions
Have fun creating, and thanks for stopping by my blog.

Happy Easter Everyone

Ok, so I had to make some Easter cards, plus some little girl Easter cards....so these are some cards I came up with. I suppose I soon need to start thinking about Mothers Day as well.

My first card is more of the digi images from http://sketchingstamperdigi-stamps.blogspot.com/ I love her style of digi images. I colored them with copics and used a white gel pen and a black fine point marker to add some depth.

My next card is for my nieces and a my friends granddaughter. I wanted something small and cute for the girls...this is what I came up with. Love these fuzzy little bunnies. I used flocking on them (which I haven't touched in years).

Thanks so much for checking out my cards today.

My Very First Digi Card!

OK....is it possible to have another addiction? This one being addicted to digi images? I think its at least the beginning. I purchased this image this morning from http://sketchingstamperdigi-stamps.blogspot.com/ and I absolutely love it, and it was much easier than I had anticipated!

This card is for the sketch challenge over on http://dareu2digistamp.blogspot.com/ It was a combo sketch challenge and digi challenge. I printed this out on a HP750 printer and colored with my copics with NO smearing! How cool is that. I also used a white gel pen and my black SU marker to add some additional dimension.

Thanks for stopping by and taking a look today.
